From the Wall Street Journal:
Michael Burger is of counsel at Sher Edling, which represents state and local governments suing fossil-fuel companies over climate change. Mr. Burger’s writings on “attribution science,” a theory central to those cases, are cited as neutral scientific authority throughout CJP’s modules and have been assigned as supplemental reading to judges attending its trainings. His work anchored the controversial climate chapter of the Federal Judicial Center’s recent Reference Manual on Scientific Evidence, which has since been withdrawn.
